CENG — UI/UX Designer
02 About
Hey there, I’m Christian, founder of CENG that focuses on game interface design. I specialize in all UI systems and styles in order to upscale or maintain user retention.
That means readable and high quality interfaces across all devices, to ensure players are happy with what is in their screen, and as well stay engaged with their overall experience.
With 5+ years of experience on UI/UX design alone, I can assure you that with me, you will get the best quality and service done. I have a strong focus on aesthetics and attention to detail, and I am communicative as well.
Most importantly, with me, you can expect a versatile UI designer that is flexible with any style or type of interface you can think of.
03 Process
The same order every time. You always know what's coming next and what you're approving before it gets built.
You tell me the game, the screens you need and your deadline. I come back with scope and a price before anything starts.
Two visual directions on one real screen from your game, not a mood board. You pick one, we lock the type, spacing and colour rules.
Every screen built out in full, including the states people forget, empty, loading, locked, error. Sketches and wireframing will be included as well.
Named layers, and assets exported at the right scales. Assets will be delivered depending on file format agreed upon. Questions answered after delivery.
04 Questions
If your question isn't here, ask it on Discord. I’d much rather answer than have you guess.
The game name and link, a list of the screens you want, any existing art or colours you're locked into, and your deadline. Screenshots of the current UI help more than a description.
A single screen is usually a few days. A full system across a dozen screens runs a few weeks. I give you a real date in the brief stage rather than a guess up front.
Yes. Sliced PNGs at the scales you need, named to match the Figma layers, plus 9-slice assets where a panel has to stretch. Source file included.
Revisions run through the whole project rather than being counted. Because direction gets locked in step two, changes later tend to be small.
Neither — I design the screens themselves, not motion or icon sets. What you get is every state drawn out in full: default, hover, pressed, empty and locked. That is exactly what an animator or scripter needs to build transitions from, so nothing is blocked by it. If your project needs custom icons or motion, budget for someone who specialises in that and I'll design around whatever they produce.
It depends on how many screens and how complex the states are. Send me the brief and you'll have a fixed number before any work starts — no hourly billing.
